Asma bin Kalban is an Emirati children's literature author, and the founder of Al Thuraya Publishing. She is passionate about preserving Emirati heritage through storytelling and creating engaging literary experiences for young readers. Her books include Weaving A Square, which was selected to be part of the UAE Ministry of Education’s Arabic curriculum for three years. My Grandmother Trove got chosen in the Reading for Pleasure programme in 2021, followed by Never Ending (2022) and her latest book, Rain Doesn’t Stop. Alongside her writing, Asma conducts reading workshops in schools as part of the Reading for Pleasure programme.
