Professor Haitham Taha is a researcher specializing in developmental learning disabilities, with a focus on the cognitive and psychological foundations of learning skills, visual word recognition, and numerical cognition. His primary research examines the cognitive and neural bases of reading among native Arabic speakers, including both typical and struggling readers. He has held academic positions at several institutions and serves on the editorial board of Annals of Dyslexia.
