Dr Kevin Paterson is a professor of experimental psychology at the University of Leicester. His interests are in understanding cognitive mechanisms involved in reading and understanding text. His research investigates this question across different languages, including Arabic, Chinese, and English, and in skilled reading, developing reading and in older adult readers.
