Madonna Vicera is a dedicated school librarian and literacy advocate who has been serving in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) since 2013. Recognized as a finalist for School Librarian of the Year for two consecutive years, she is known for her strong commitment to promoting literacy, reading for pleasure, and lifelong learning.
As the founding librarian of Dubai Schools Al Khawaneej, she has played a key role in building a vibrant reading culture through innovative library programs, literacy campaigns, and school-wide initiatives. With experience supporting KG, Primary, and Secondary students, Madonna is passionate about inspiring creativity, curiosity, and independent learning while fostering meaningful connections between students, families, and books.
