Shaikha Al Zaabi serves as Head of the Extracurricular Activities Department for Arts and Arabic Literature at the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre. She has more than 15 years of experience in education, having worked as a teacher before moving into cultural programming and educational leadership.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialisation in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. She began her career with the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, where she served as Children's Programme Manager for the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair before becoming Head of the Book Fair Programmes Unit. Following the establishment of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, she was selected to join its founding team.
In her current role, she contributes to the development and delivery of cultural initiatives that promote national identity, foster a love of the Arabic language, and nurture creativity among students.
